THE LIVING ROOM PRESENTS

LIVING ROOM STORIES v1: Beginnings and Endings

Living Room Stories is a new pilot storytelling series  produced and presented by The Living Room, Rhode Island’s newest gathering place for conversations that matter.

“Beginnings and Endings” is our theme for Fall 2012, and the first in an occasional series of gatherings designed around true, personal stories told from the stage by 5-6 people.  Save the date:  Thursday, November 15, 8 pm at the historic Kentish Guards Armory in East Greenwich, RI.

Our storytellers come from all walks of life, but they all have one thing in common: a compelling story to share with you.

We think of it as a night for taking a “creative pause” from the rush of life.  A place where you can unplug from everything and connect with others through the power of story.  Expect the heartwarming, the epic, the humorous, the unexpected, and the poignant.  Whatever you experience, we hope you will leave with your imagination sparked and your spirit nourished in new ways.

After the stories, we will have time for informal mingling and conversation. Coffee and light food will be available for sale.

It promises to be a very special evening and, with limited seating, a quick sell out.
